Sparky Clancy

Sparky Clancy grew up farming in southern Idaho. Having heard the Gospel through a youth outreach group, he placed his faith in Jesus at age eight. Having served in the local church as a youth leader, Bible teacher, and preaching in various churches the Lord called him to the Democratic Republic of Congo. For over a decade he worked to reinforce churches with discipleship training and leadership development. Returning to Idaho due to political issues in Congo, he was called to serve as pastor with Notus Baptist Church. He continues to be passionate about church revitalization and the development of future ministry leaders. Sparky has earned a Master of Arts in Intercultural Studies (MAIS) with an emphasis on Church Planting from Asbury Theological Seminary, an BA in Biblical Counseling from Trinity College of the Bible and Theological Seminary, and an AA in Biblical Studies from Western Baptist College.
